Born to [Unknown Cat] in the Windclan nursery, the little kit came out as normal as any other kitten and was named Rosekit to signify her beautiful patterned fur. She was just as bubbly and playful as any other kit; playing with her litter mates, being a little chatter box, and generally just loving life. She was most known for her mature thoughts, how she could sometimes give advice you wouldn't expect from a kit. It was only her imagination speaking at that time though, just the childish fantasies of a young cat.

At six moon, the age every kit adored, she was apprenticed to [Unknown Cat] after being told endless times to sit and stop bouncing around. Taking on the name Rosepaw now, she trained under her mentor, learning as quickly as she could, and of course, putting her own imaginative spin on it. Climbing trees? What if you jumped on a predator from above? Hunting? What if you rubbed yourself in prey to the prey came to you? She had as many ideas as she had brain cells, but once her health slowly started to dim, she did the same. The once happy go lucky apprentice was now sad, sour almost. It was during her assessment that she finally accepted her life would never be the same, as she collapsed after the fighting portion and had to stay in the medicine cat den for a few days.

One of those days, she happened of overhear a conversation between the medicine cat and the leader and misinterpreted it completely. They were gonna put her out? She didn't want to leave! She would get better if it was the last thing she did! Taking a few of her ideas from training, Rosepaw limped her way out of camp at night, not sure what she was going to do, but knowing she couldn't stay. Now, no one knows for sure just how long she avoided all the clans, darting as fast as she could every time she scented a cat, but one day she was found resting painfully inside an old abandoned fox den she had found one night. Sure, the foxes that previously lived there were long gone, but the warrior that found her didn't know that at that moment, all they knew was there was an apprentice far away from any camps and where she didn't belong. The next thing she knew, she woke up in an unfamilier camp surrounded by the scent of Thunderclan. Sure enough, the scent of Windclan on her pelt was too faint to identify, so the clan too her in, training her their ways till moons later she became Rosewood, in honor of her standing firm even with her disability, just like the wood on a tree.
